New painting! - Hang out wiht water fairy!

Hi it's very nasty outside in Seattle today... rain, rain, rain... so I will put this one to cheer you up! My dream vacation spot.... it's warm and beautiful beaches and hang out with weird creatures and water fairy!!!! Perfect day!!!!!!this is 12x36 Acrylic on Canvas....



Also I will have a show in December at Pike Place Market!! I will let you know more details later!!! It's perfect for Christmas shopping for special someone.... :)

Currently I am showing all my paintings at the Lobby of Chartis Insurance Company for a couple of months!! Yeay!! I've been hearing wonderful reaction from people! Thank you for the great help, Leslie!! :)

In December, I will show my paintings at Local Color in Pike Place Market!! I will let you know the details later! Well, I was too busy playing outside during summer, but now I started to paint again... I hope to have new paintings in December!!!

Hello from Forest...

Summer is almost over here in Seattle... and I'm sad... I'm trying to enjoy every sunny day we have. I really want to go camping and surounded by trees.... My soul needs nature right now...

But on the other hand... I'm planning to go home in Christmas time and I can't wait to see my family and friends!!!! I haven't been home for a couple of years, so it will be really good to see them...

皆さん、元気ですか？？きっと日本はまだまだ暑い日が続いていることかと思います。。。シアトルは今日は心地のいい温度です。でももうすぐまた寒い、曇りの日が来るかと思うと寂しくなります。でも年末に日本に帰るのでとっても楽しみで～す！早く日本に帰って、温泉、カラオケなどなど盛りだくさんのファミリー　アンド　フレンド　タイムがとっても楽しみでございます・・・

New Paintings!!

Hi, so I don't know where summer went, but it's COLD today. I'm wearing a jacket in AUGUST!!! WTF!? I guess this is Seattle summer. I've been here for 13 years, but still not used to not hot summer... I'm sure it will be warm again.... I hope...

New Painting & New Show!!

Summer is almost here!!!!!

Hi, I haven't been bloggin for a while now... It was so much fun at Eurostyle in Fremont for two months!! I got lots of good words about the art walk in Fremont and I think people enjoyed my paintings at their store!! yeay! Thank you so much for those who stopped by and came to check out my paintings!! Yesterday was moving date for my paintings. With help of my friends, now my paintings are displayed and sold at Chiso, Japanese restaurant in Fremont for June and July!! Chiso is one of the best Japanese restaurant in Seattle (I think and I AM Japanese so I know!!! )

My paintings are in entry hall way and in front of Sushi Bar! I hope people will enjoy them!!!

I hope they make people smile or laugh!!!! :)

Also here is my new painting for my friends! The theme was doughnuts!! They always invite friends and familes to their house for coffee and doughnuts before the summer solstice parade in Fremont!! That's why it's happy summery doughnuts painting!!!! It will be on postcards for the invitation for this family event. :)

It has been pretty good year for my paintings!!!

Also a store, Portage Bay is now carrying my cards!! And up coming, new store called "Snowmonkey's house of monster" will carry my cards, prints, and boots stands!!! yea-y!!! Thank you very very much for all your support! I love it!! :)

皆さんお元気ですかー？？お久しぶりです！シアトルも夏っぽく、ちょっと暖かくなってきました。今日も半そでで大丈夫ないいお天気です！！早く夏が来ないかぁ・・・

さてさて、私の絵の方ですが、今年はなかなかいい感じで行っております。今年の５月、６月とEurostyle というお店で販売していただいていました。結構皆さんに好評で本当にありがとうございました！そして！今日から、６月と７月はこちらのフリーモントにある馳走という日本料理のレストランに２か月置かせていただくことになりました！上の写真がそのレストランの写真です！２か月も置かせていただくなんて本当に光栄です！皆さんに楽しんでいただきたいと願っております！！

そして一番の下の写真は一番新しい絵です。知人に頼まれ、ドーナッツのテーマです！どうでしょー？？

今年はいろいろといい年で”PortageBay" というお店が新しく私のカードを販売、そしてもうすぐ開く”Snowmonkey's house of Monster"というお店もカード、プリント、ブーツ立てと販売をしていただくことになりました！また開店になったら連絡しまーす！！

Boots Stands - thumb&thumb - Hugs from Tomonster!!!

Hi, So the art opening went really great! Lots of my friends showed up and they supported me and I really appreciate it!! Thank you all for coming and support my art... I really appreciate it...

After the show, I'm back to busy doing my own things and I made these boots stands... I'm sure that all girls know... boots doesn't stand up by thierselves (like this photo...) and they drove me crazy... so I made boots stands that are funny and cute...and cuddly...




They are super soft freece material and strong and it's washable (when they gets stinky...hehehe...) I am also thinking boots warmer/perfume boots stands right now... but meanwhile they are what they are. They have long arms so you can tie them to hug each other. They are just stuffed dolls hug each other to stand! They need each other... Check out thier little feet!! They are super cute, I must say... I love them and use them at home...and they keep your boots in shape and good condition!!!


well, if you don't have boots, that's okay. You can just keep them as huggable dolls!!! :)

みなさーんお元気ですか？この前の金曜日のアートショーは大成功でした。たくさんのお友達がきてくれてとても楽しかったです！！ありがとうございました！！！
さてショーのその週末、また自分の世界に入り込んでまたまた新しい子供達を作りました！ブーツスタンドです！この子達の名前は”Ｔｈｕｍｂ－Ｔｈｕｍｂ”（サムーサム；親指君）です。ブーツに入れて長ーい腕をくくればハグをしながらブーツを守ります！ちゃんと立つし、ブーツのコンディションもいい状態に保ちます。マテリアルはフリースでもちろん洗えちゃう！ブーツで汚くなったら洗濯機へポイできます！！今はこの子達に超はまってしまって一生懸命売りにだしております・・・ふふふ。

またどんどんいろいろなものを作っていきますので宜しくおねがいしまーす！！！

ARTWALK in Fremont, Seattle in APRIL!!!

Value Meal...

This is my newest painting! It's called "Value Meal" Are they eating each other? or spitting each other out??? It's how you look at it, I guess. :)

The original painting is 12"x24" Acrylic on canvas. My favorite dude is, of course, the biggest yellow monster!!!

この絵は最近できあがりました。新作です！題は”バリュー　メニュー”です。みんな食べあってるのか、それとも吐き出してるのか・・・？？？それはみんなの想像しだいです。。。ふふふ。

オリジナルのサイズは３０．５センチｘ６１センチのアクリル画です。私のお気に入りはやっぱり一番大きい黄色のモンスターかなぁ～・・・

Gabriel and Squiddy!!!

My friend, Denise gave me these cute cute photos of her son, Gabriel and my pillow. She told me that usually he doesn't like plush toys, but he likes this one and calls him "squiddy" and he sleeps with him!!! He is a cutie!!!

I hope my pillow will give him fun and funny dreams!!!!

New Paitnings!!!

Belated Happy New Year to everybody!!! I can't believe that January is almost over!!! This is crazy! I bet someone is fastforwarding our universal clock....
Well, finally I have photographed images of my new paintings!

First one is called " Candy Mountain" These little sacchans are trying to get candy on top of the mountain!! It's a long hard road and they are riding forest bus called "Hottan"
Plants of the mountains are spraying with round sweet candy also! Origianl size is 24x36 and it's acrylic on canvas.
Second one is called " What's going on above the clouds..." this is what I suspect what's going on above the clouds... The little black guys are called "mojamoja" that's where they live and they have fun with everybody including a giant cat fishy who gives you a ride anytime!! The original size is 36x36 and it's acrylic on canvas.

Please let me know what you think!!! :) 36x36 is the biggetst painting I've ever done!! It was so much fun!!!!

遅くなりましたが、皆様、明けましておめでとうございます！今年もどうぞ宜しくお願いいたします！もう１月の終わりなんて本当に時間が経つのは早いですねぇ～・・・年もとるわけだぁ・・・

さて最近終わった絵の紹介をさせていただきます。上の絵は実は２００８年に終わっていたのですが、なかなか写真がとれなくって遅くなりました。タイトルは”キャンディー　マウンテン”です。小さいさっちゃんたちが森のバス”ホッタン”にのって山の上のキャンディーをとりにいくところです。山は大きく険しく、高い道のり・・・周りの植物も甘いあめの雨を降らせています。オリジナルの大きさは６０センチｘ９０センチ。アクリル画です。

２つ目の絵は”雲の上で起こっていること”というタイトルです。これは私がいつもこういうことが雲の上で起こってるに違いないと確信していることです。私が見えないからとみんな楽しく仲良く遊んでいるのではないか・・・小さく黒い雲の住民とほかの生き物があそんでいます。しかもおおきな空を飛ぶナマズの上にも乗らせてくれます。。。羨ましいです・・・
