ARTWALK in Fremont, Seattle in APRIL!!!
I was selected for artwalk showing in month of April!!! It will be in fremont, Seattle. I've never done artwalk and I'm super excited about this.

Value Meal...
This is my newest painting! It's called "Value Meal" Are they eating each other? or spitting each other out??? It's how you look at it, I guess. :)
The original painting is 12"x24" Acrylic on canvas. My favorite dude is, of course, the biggest yellow monster!!!
この絵は最近できあがりました。新作です！題は”バリュー メニュー”です。みんな食べあってるのか、それとも吐き出してるのか・・・？？？それはみんなの想像しだいです。。。ふふふ。
オリジナルのサイズは３０．５センチｘ６１センチのアクリル画です。私のお気に入りはやっぱり一番大きい黄色のモンスターかなぁ～・・・

Gabriel and Squiddy!!!
My friend, Denise gave me these cute cute photos of her son, Gabriel and my pillow. She told me that usually he doesn't like plush toys, but he likes this one and calls him "squiddy" and he sleeps with him!!! He is a cutie!!!I hope my pillow will give him fun and funny dreams!!!!

New Paitnings!!!
Belated Happy New Year to everybody!!! I can't believe that January is almost over!!! This is crazy! I bet someone is fastforwarding our universal clock....
Well, finally I have photographed images of my new paintings!
First one is called " Candy Mountain" These little sacchans are trying to get candy on top of the mountain!! It's a long hard road and they are riding forest bus called "Hottan"
Plants of the mountains are spraying with round sweet candy also! Origianl size is 24x36 and it's acrylic on canvas.
Second one is called " What's going on above the clouds..." this is what I suspect what's going on above the clouds... The little black guys are called "mojamoja" that's where they live and they have fun with everybody including a giant cat fishy who gives you a ride anytime!! The original size is 36x36 and it's acrylic on canvas.

遅くなりましたが、皆様、明けましておめでとうございます！今年もどうぞ宜しくお願いいたします！もう１月の終わりなんて本当に時間が経つのは早いですねぇ～・・・年もとるわけだぁ・・・
さて最近終わった絵の紹介をさせていただきます。上の絵は実は２００８年に終わっていたのですが、なかなか写真がとれなくって遅くなりました。タイトルは”キャンディー マウンテン”です。小さいさっちゃんたちが森のバス”ホッタン”にのって山の上のキャンディーをとりにいくところです。山は大きく険しく、高い道のり・・・周りの植物も甘いあめの雨を降らせています。オリジナルの大きさは６０センチｘ９０センチ。アクリル画です。
２つ目の絵は”雲の上で起こっていること”というタイトルです。これは私がいつもこういうことが雲の上で起こってるに違いないと確信していることです。私が見えないからとみんな楽しく仲良く遊んでいるのではないか・・・小さく黒い雲の住民とほかの生き物があそんでいます。しかもおおきな空を飛ぶナマズの上にも乗らせてくれます。。。羨ましいです・・・

Tomonster Pillows!!
Happy Holidays to everybody!!!
I made bunch of charactor pillows from my paintings for charity before this Christmas! 50% of the profit went to TreeHouse (www.treehouse4kids.org/ -Treehouse will use the funds for their College and Career Program. This program provides support to foster care youths in the possibilities of reaching a goal of a college education for every youth from every economic level of life. The program works with companies in apprenticeships and mentorships with the youths as well) So I was able to donate $150 for my share! :) Yea-y!! It was so much fun to make these guys and I am planning to make them more in the future. So if you'd like to purchase one, please let me know!! They are $36 to 40 each. :) I will put them on etsy site (http://www.tomonster.etsy.com/) or just e-mail me to tomoko@tomonster.net They are cuddly and very soft freece material. :)

Ｈａｐｐｙ Ｈｏｌｉｄａｙｓ！！！
日本の皆さんお元気ですか？シアトルはとても寒く、先週は大雪でした。こんな年も本当に珍しいです。私の母が日本からシアトルのクリスマスを見たい！と先週遊びにきてくれました。しかし、吹雪でどこにも行けず・・・という悲しい結果になってしまい、本当に申し訳なかったです。母はもう無事に日本に帰国しましたが、今度は夏に来る！と言っておりました・・・
今年のクリスマスの直前に私の会社でチャリティーのイベントで手作りのものを持ち寄って会社内で販売をするという企画がありました。私は写真のように、自分の絵のキャラクターのぬいぐるみを作りました！とても反響がよく売り切れてあとのオーダーも出るほどで大成功！おかげで売り上げの半分の１５０ドルをＴＲＥＥＨＯＵＳＥに寄付することができました！ＴＲＥＥ Ｈｏｕｓｅとはローカルの孤児を助けるグループで孤児の子供たちのためにそのお金を将来の学費にまわしたりしてヘルプをする団体です。（上のアドレスでそのサイトがみることができます）
